Today’s Featured Research Reports
Amazon’s shares have outperformed the Zacks Internet – Commerce industry over the past year (+18.6% vs. +3.4%). The company’s international expansion and diversification across e-commerce, AWS cloud services, advertising and streaming create multiple revenue streams while reducing concentration risk.
For the third quarter of 2026, Amazon guided net sales of $197-$202 billion and operating income of $22.5-$26.5 billion. AI integration across operations enhances personalization, logistics and AWS offerings, strengthening competitive positioning.
However, substantial capital expenditure requirements for AI infrastructure and data centers strain financial resources and compress margins, with trailing-12-month free cash outflow reported at $7.6 billion. The company’s expanding debt burden reduces financial flexibility amid rising interest rates. Intensifying competition from Walmart, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud is an overhang.

Shares of GE Aerospace have declined -2.9% over the past year against the Zacks Aerospace – Defense industry’s decline of -19.4%. The company is facing higher production costs, inflation and unfavorable product mix which could weigh on margins. Persistent supply-chain constraints may delay deliveries and increase expenses. The planned acquisition of Consolidated Precision Products could add debt and financing obligations.
Foreign exchange volatility and uncertain airline demand amid elevated fuel costs and geopolitical tensions pose further risks. These risks may weigh on GE Aerospace’s profitability in the quarters ahead.
Nevertheless, GE Aerospace benefits from rising demand for commercial engines and aftermarket services, supported by fleet expansion and higher aircraft utilization. Growing defense orders and investments in production and repair capacity further support its long-term prospects. Improved operational execution, healthy cash generation and shareholder-friendly policies are encouraging.

TotalEnergies’ shares have gained +44.4% over the past year against the Zacks Oil and Gas – Integrated – International industry’s gain of +56.1%. The company presents a balanced investment case, supported by its expanding global portfolio, resilient production outside disrupted regions and exposure to the entire global LNG value chain and emerging hydrocarbon basins.
Contributions from new project start-ups and acquired assets are expected to boost volumes and support cash generation across market cycles. Investments in low-carbon businesses also provide a longer-term transition path and help align operations with emissions goals.
However, geopolitical and security risks could disrupt operations, while dependence on acquired assets creates integration and execution challenges. Commodity price volatility may also weigh on margins and cash flow.
