Estimate Trend for EPD

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for third-quarter earnings per share (EPS) of 74 cents has seen no upward or downward revisions in the past seven days. The estimated figure indicates a 21.3% improvement from the prior-year reported figure.

The Zacks Consensus Estimate for revenues of $13.35 billion implies a 27.7% increase from the year-ago recorded figure.

Factors to Consider for EPD’s Q3 Results

Enterprise Products is a leading player in the midstream energy sector, with an extensive pipeline network spanning more than 50,000 miles, liquids storage facilities with more than 300 million barrels of storage capacity, deepwater docks, natural gas processing trains, fractionators, two propane dehydrogenation facilities and isobutane dehydrogenation facilities. The partnership stores and transports natural gas liquids (NGL), crude oil, natural gas, petrochemicals and refined products using its midstream assets. A large portion of its contracts are fee-based, with inflation protection provisions. Therefore, EPD likely generated stable cash flows in the September-end quarter of 2026.

For the third quarter, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the NGL Pipelines and Services segment’s gross operating margin is $1,572 million, up from $1,369 million in the prior-year quarter. The estimate for the Crude Oil Pipelines and Services segment is pegged at $420 million compared with $377 million a year ago. However, the Natural Gas Pipelines & Services segment is expected to face pressure, with its gross operating margin estimated at $374 million, down from $402 million in the prior-year period.
